Oxymeris maculata, common name the Crenulate Auger, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Terebridae, the auger snails.[1]
Description
The shell size varies between 48 mm and 154 mm.
Distribution
This species is distributed in the Red Sea and in the Indian Ocean along Aldabra, Chagos, Madagascar, the Mascarene Basin, Mauritius and Tanzania; in the Pacific Ocean along Mexico.
